People Business has worked with Newchurch on a project basis over the last 4 years. Newchurch has established a national reputation for its work with the NHS and other healthcare organisations, advising over 300 NHS bodies on strategic, organisational and service developments.

Our role has been to support the business’s growth and expansion plans by providing a range of HR Services to support the change process.

  • Placing an Interim HR Director and finding their permanent replacement
  • Planning recruitment campaigns
  • Improving selection processes including designing a new web enabled applications process
  • Rationalising the use of Recruitment Agencies, creating a preferred supplier list. Negotiating standard terms and conditions and preferential rates
  • Revising policies and procedures
  • Providing management development programmes

Our approach has been to provide targeted support, based on business needs, with HR and Development consultants who “fit” within the culture, have the right skills and experience mix and can deliver the improvement projects professionally, quickly and cost effectively.
