Bioscript Group is an independent global agency providing medical and scientific communication services, regulatory writing and market access consulting to clients across the life sciences sector. The group is presently formed from five specialist businesses: Meridian HealthComms, Fortis, Valid Insight, Bioscript Regulatory Writing and Bioscript Medical Communications. It has over 220 dedicated expert staff in healthcare communications with a focus on scientific and writing excellence, expert engagement, events management, strategic planning, and patient access consulting.
Gabrielle Silver, CEO, contacted People Business looking for an interim outsourced HR consultant partner who could support the integration and alignment – operationally and culturally- of the recently acquired businesses whilst continuing to support their growth ambitions, before the new People Director was hired.

Liaising directly with the CEO, our dedicated HR consultant was involved in planning and delivering a number of people initiatives which included:
- Engagement survey actions – improving organisational communication- introducing employee champions, harmonising benefits (pension, health insurance) across 5 separate business units
- HR system and payroll integration – last business integrated, April 23
- Ongoing HR analytics – Churn rate/regretters, benefits take-up
- Reviewing and launching company policies
- Participating in cross group collaborative task force to support integration
- Liaising with SLT on international and remote worker employment and management
- Launching a new Mentoring Programme
- Planning and managing an SLT member 360 feedback and outplacement support
- Driving and managing a redundancy programme with the HR Team
- Supporting managers/business leads with ongoing employee relations – unsuccessful probations, terminations, settlement agreements.
Our dedicated Interim HR consultant provided ongoing Strategic HR planning and support to the CEO, flexing and being on hand as a sounding board and business partner.
