Quod
Quod is a dynamic independent consultancy at the cutting edge of planning, development economics, social economics and environmental planning based in London and Leeds.
Founded in May 2010, Quod has experienced sustained growth, attracting well established professionals, and providing specialist expertise. Uniquely, they combine mainstream planning advice with industry leading expertise on socio-economic issues, environmental assessments, infrastructure, and development economics, including affordable housing and viability.
How People Business assisted the client
Working with Quod since 2018 we have built a trusted partnership with their internal HR team and People Directors. We initially carried out a comprehensive bespoke HR audit and defined an operational and strategic people plan, starting with the first 100 days. We designed a deep dive survey into the topic of employee wellbeing and from the results created an action plan to improv areas which needed attention. We ran a modular management training programme for managers and directors in the organisation with particular emphasis on enabling people to develop and thrive at Quod.
As well as being a regular presence in Quod offices and being available remotely for day today support, we attended and presented the people plan updates at the Directors Meetings, engaging with the team on current and future people topics. We supported the client with gender pay reporting, engagement surveys and refreshed the internal skills and competency framework and performance management processes.
