Moco Museum
Moco Museum is an independent museum group with a wide range of inspiring modern, contemporary, and street art – located in Amsterdam, Barcelona and London.
Established over nine years ago, Moco has made art accessible to more than six million visitors from over 120+ different nations, providing one-of-a-kind experiences aimed at a broad audience. In their collection, Moco exhibits Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, KAWS, Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama, Andy Warhol, Studio Irma, and so many more!
Moco Museum appointed People Business at the beginning of July 2023 ahead of the opening of their London branch in Marble Arch on 10th August 2023.

How People Business assisted Moco Museum
Under a retained contract People Business first set up Moco Museum’s employment contracts (a mix of permanent, fixed term and casual workers suitable for the business) and also reviewed and created new job descriptions to ensure they were inclusive, bias free and attracted top talent.
We then created a bespoke staff handbook and local policies necessary for supporting a start-up, as well as localising their international policies to ensure they were legally compliant in the UK.
Working initially with the CEO and CFO and then daily with the Head of HR we provided ongoing support with recruiting and onboarding their talent, managing staff and providing guidance on best practice and local legislative requirements.
Our dedicated HR consultants were on hand to respond and support Moco London on any employee related questions and statutory entitlements, providing ongoing HR advice and support to the Head of HR. This included providing recommendations on employee compensations and the most relevant employee benefits. As part of the retained service the Head of HR was able to reach out to us on an ‘as needed’ basis with any queries on people related matters.
