Leaving an organisation through redundancy can be a daunting experience. These are turbulent times and outplacement coaching can give your employees a great opportunity to prepare themselves for their next job or career. This type of coaching is usually offered as part of a separation or redundancy agreement and can help to ‘soften the blow’ whilst strengthening employer brand. We focus support on helping people leave as ambassadors for the organisation.
Employees taking part will ideally attend six one-to-one sessions tailored to their specific needs. Typically, the first session will focus on exploring reactions to the news, general readiness to job search and explore which aspects of outplacement will be most beneficial.
Thereafter, sessions might cover:
- CV creation and/or improvement
- enhancing presence on social media and LinkedIn profile
- interviewing preparation & answering key questions
- techniques for taking part with assessments
- using networks effectively
- using head-hunters and agencies
- making direct applications
